Plot introduction
影片以华盛顿饰演的麦克白为主线，他被三个女巫说服，认为自己注定要成为苏格兰国王。他和野心勃勃的妻子麦克白夫人(麦克多蒙德饰)一起，开始把预言变成现实……结果是大量的鲜血、背叛和死亡。格里森饰演国王邓肯，米尔林饰演邓肯的儿子马尔科姆，霍金斯饰演麦克达夫。布鲁诺·德尔邦内尔([醉乡民谣])担任摄影师。
