Plot introduction

对于反种族歧视组织而言，艾利沃曼（阿尔•帕西诺 Al Pacino 饰）是一个不可多得的公关大亨。虽然他不修边幅，精神萎靡，但是却能够从容地游走于政客、商贩、明星等社会名流之间。他利用自己的人脉关系，不断地创造者政坛和媒体的新闻。一次偶然的机会，他结识了女明星吉莉（蒂娅•里欧妮 Tea Leoni 饰），在车里，这个平日声色犬马的明星痛哭流涕，只有靠艾利的药片得以缓解压力。后来，他跟随她来到了世贸中心的顶层，那里正上演着醉生梦死的私人派对，艾利无意中目睹了一次谋杀事件。曼哈顿的一夜，让艾利开始反思此前工作的威胁，后来他开始向老友维多利亚（金•贝辛格 Kim Basinger 饰）寻求帮助，但是真正摆脱困扰显然更加复杂……  Expand All
