Plot introduction

香港摄影记者刘继祖到越南公干,邂逅了越南女翻译官阮红刘因驾车不小心闯祸被捕入狱。阮为了解其在狱中下落而约会刘，因此成为了朋友。刘赴阮的约会时，误走入为了争取自由的示威队伍中，无辜被捕，更被诬为学运领导人，被严刑拷打还被判入苦工监三年。阮弟亦在此营中，他和刘及三个自称中国人民解放军的排长和战士们在患难中结识了。 阮为救弟弟和刘，冒险进入苦工营协助他们逃狱。在逃狱时阮弟不幸被杀，排长亦负伤，刘则被毒蛇咬伤。终于在排长率领下，历尽艰险回到中国人民解放军的阵地。在阵地中刘的香港女朋友来接他，阮看见了黯然地返回越南国土。刘依依不舍的目送，因他们在逃狱前已产生和表达了相互的爱意。  Expand All
